Tennessee Valley People’s Power Training

The Tennessee Valley People’s Power Training will equip community leaders in the TVA footprint with the knowledge, skills and support necessary to organize campaigns for more clean energy, energy efficiency, democratic decision making, or more equitable utility bills at their local power company.

This three part series will begin with a deep dive into the Tennessee Valley energy system with sharing of relevant campaign examples and an investigation into the participants’ local power companies and local conditions. By the end of the series, participants will have the tools they need to select an issue, build a power map and develop a campaign plan with their community.
